ATLANTA — After leading the Berry College softball team to a 2-1 week at the highly competitive NFCA Leadoff Classic, including a win over No. 3 Linfield, Bayleigh Masterson earned Southern Athletic Association (SAA) Player of the Week honors.

On the week, she hit .667 with a .727 OBP and a 1.556 slugging percentage. She added six RBIs, two home runs and a triple. Against No. 3 Linfield, she went 3-for-3 with a homer, two RBIs and a pair of runs scored.

On the year, she is top-five in the SAA with a .464 batting average, .556 OBP, .786 SLG% and two homers.

Berry returns to action on Thursday as the team hosts Covenant in a doubleheader at 11:00 a.m.
