Volleyball Secures Sweep of Previously Unbeaten Warriors on the Road

CONWAY, Ark. — The No. 6 Berry College volleyball team spoiled the Hendrix College Warrior's run atop the Southern Athletic Association (SAA) as the Vikings secured a straight set victory to improve to 15-3 overall and 6-1 in league play.

Berry is now first in the league at 6-1. Hendrix fell to 11-3 overall and lost its first SAA match, now 5-1 in conference play. After claiming the opening set 25-23, Berry was in complete control taking set two 25-15 and the final set 25-18. Carson VanCampen and Peyton Breissinger recorded double-digit kills with Breissinger also earning 15 digs. Jordan Leitch recorded 38 assists in the outing. As a team, Berry hit .378 and had five blocks. 

The team travels to Oglethorpe on Wednesday for its next SAA matchup at 6:00 p.m.
